DST Service Education 2025: Advancing Expertise at DST Poland
On February 5–6, 2025, we hosted the DST Service Education event at our DST Poland factory in Chwaszczyno. This two-day intensive training brought together representatives from around the world, equipping them with advanced skills in DST dehumidifier maintenance, servicing, and optimization. The event was designed to ensure that our global partners are well-prepared to maintain the highest standards of service and efficiency for DST products.
Day 1: Hands-On Mechanical Training
The first day of training focused on the mechanical aspects of DST dehumidifiers, with participants engaging in hands-on workshops to develop their technical expertise. The sessions covered:
- Component replacement – Understanding key parts, their functions, and best practices for replacement.
- System adjustments – Fine-tuning equipment for optimal performance and efficiency.
- Troubleshooting – Diagnosing and resolving common mechanical issues to ensure reliability.
The interactive format allowed attendees to apply their knowledge in real-world scenarios, reinforcing best practices for servicing DST units.
Day 2: Controls & Commissioning
The second day shifted focus to control systems, commissioning procedures, and fault diagnostics, ensuring participants were well-versed in the technological side of DST dehumidifiers. Key topics included:
- Control systems and commissioning procedures – Ensuring proper setup and calibration for new installations.
- Fault-finding techniques – Identifying and troubleshooting issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
- PLC communication – Understanding how programmable logic controllers (PLCs) function within DST systems for better monitoring and control.
These sessions provided valuable insights into optimizing system performance, ensuring reliability, and delivering superior service to customers.
Networking & Collaboration
Beyond the training sessions, the event fostered valuable networking opportunities, allowing participants to exchange experiences, discuss best practices, and strengthen professional relationships. Attendees also enjoyed group dinners in Gdansk, creating a relaxed environment for collaboration and knowledge sharing.
